30 Hour Famine is an international youth movement to fight hunger. ALIVE, SCRATCH & TURF will participate in fasting for 30 hours to get a taste of hunger – and to raise money to help feed and care for hungry kids and their families around the world.

Thursday, Aug 5: Union Rescue Mission
Location: Union Rescue Mission @ Los Angeles, CA
We want to respond to our calling to bring hope, healing, change (Matthew 25:40) and share the love of Jesus Christ by serving others in need. Union Rescue Mission (URM) is a private, nonprofit, faith-based organization dedicated to restoring the lives of homeless men, women and children in Los Angeles. URM serves approximately 2,000 meals daily.

Saturday, Aug 7: Harvest Crusade 2010
Location: Angel Stadium, Anaheim
Harvest Crusade is a large-scale evangelistic outreach event for Christians to invite unsaved family members, coworkers, friends, and acquaintances to hear the life-changing message of the gospel in an environment that is entertaining, yet nonthreatening.

Location: Le-Chee Church of the Nazarene @ Page, Arizona
To glorify God by serving Him in Page, Arizona (Matthew 28:19) and partner with the local church in leading VBS, which will consist of worship, bible teaching, crafts and games for children.
